West Coast FC’s Creativity and Soccer IQ Camps are designed to supplement training for the serious player seeking to improve their creativity, decision making, and overall savviness. This year's summer camp will facilitate a deeper understanding of the term 'Speed of Play' and how it relates to training and matches. Speed of play is defined as a player's ability to recognize opportunities, anticipate what's going to happen, and then execute actions with the right timing, pace, and accuracy. The goal of speed of play training is to replicate game speed. In focusing on the bedrocks of Awareness, Movement and Communication all players will learn to improve their decision making ability and understand how technical qualities influence tactical opportunities.
